Bank employee accused of theft

A bank employee stole $7,000 and then falsified an internal audit to try to hide the crime, sheriff’s deputies said Monday. They arrested Spencer Marcus, 25, of Albany, on charges of grand larceny and falsifying business records, both felonies. Deputies said he stole the money and falsified paperwork in February while working at a bank in Halfmoon.
