Towns tap into Saratoga County water system again

The towns of Clifton Park and Ballston have resumed buying drinking water from the Saratoga County Water Authority after the authority took measures to reduce potentially harmful chemical compounds in the water. A $150,000 temporary carbon filtration system went into operation last week in Ballston and has been effective, authority officials said. Global Foundries is sitting on an Aquafer that has billions of gallons of water. There are two water companies across the street from one another. The Town of Malta and the Town of Stillwater; better yet the Saratoga county should acquire them for the good of the public.
