January 1973 Scrapbook
Emerson, Lake & Palmer was considered a super group in 1973. The progressive rock musicians had competition in the Capital Region — from Kilrain, Castelli & Savarese.
The latter trio preferred dance for artistic expression. Robin Kilrain, Patricia Castelli and Ann Savarese performed a dance choreography titled “Newspaper” at Saint Agnes School in Loudonville on Jan. 19. There were other ’70s groups in action during the first month of ’73.
