What is a news feed?
A news feed (also known as an RSS feed) is a format for delivering regulary changing web content. It is updated whenever new content is published to the site.
This format allows you to easily retrieve the content that you want without having to visit multiple websites, or to pick through a website for the content that you are interested in.
You will need a news reader to subscribe to a feed, though some modern web browsers have news reading built-in. If your browser does not display the feed, just copy and paste the feed URL into your news reader software.
The news reader will show you a list of the new stories on the site. Each news feed has links back the site, so if you see an item that you're interested in, you can click back to the site to read the full story.
