David joined the Gazette in August of 2010 and works primarily out of the main office in Schenectady. He covers general news and state politics. Before starting with the Gazette, David interned with the independent legislative reporting firm NY StateWatch, the Saratogian and the Legislative Gazette. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 2009.
