Lee Coleman has been a reporter in The Gazette's Saratoga Springs bureau since 1981. He started his career in journalism at the Post-Star in Glens Falls, where he was a reporter and later an editor. Lee graduated from St. Bonaventure University in Olean. He served in the U.S. Army for two years and took graduate courses in journalism at Penn State University. Coleman has been writing about the PCB cleanup of the Hudson River for his entire career. Dredging is scheduled to start in 2009. He also covers local government in and around Saratoga Springs, including the towns of Wilton and Greenfield. Lee and his wife, Toni, have four grown boys and one granddaughter, Reilly Elizabeth Coleman, who lives in Raleigh, N.C., with her parents, Peter and Lana Coleman.
