Rick has been assistant Sports Editor for the Gazette since 1990. His duties include editing, headline writing, pagination, assignments and photo selection. He joined the Gazette as a high school sports correspondent in October 1968 and later covered high school soccer, track & field, football and basketball. He still maintain a database of all-time Section II track leaders and writes about curling. He has also had his work published in soccer and fishing magazines and is a two-time Gazette Employee of the Month.
