Biography:

Steven covers Schenectady County crime, as well as Niskayuna town government and schools, and has been based in the Schenectady office since 2003. He signed on with the paper in June 2000, covering Montgomery County from the Amsterdam bureau. Steven came to Schenectady from the Midwest, having worked or interned for newspapers in Ohio and Iowa. He is a 2000 graduate of the University of Iowa.
