Wendy Liberatore has a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from Pace University's Dyson College of Arts and Science. She began her newspaper career as an education reporter with Westchester Rockland Newspapers in White Plains, New York. She went on to write about the performing and visual arts for the Saratogian in Saratoga Springs. Since 1990, she has reported for the Gazette Newspapers with a focus on dance. She is the recipient of several writing awards including eight from the New York State Associated Press for news, reviews and features.
