It will be nice to see him local - or at least more often than we did with Wilkes-Barre. I always liked Mormina. I think he's an excellent defenceman. I still don't understand why the Canes let him get away.
I don't know the official reason, but at one of the events that he was seated with myself and a couple of others he mentioned exploring his options overseas. I think it's something that he's been thinking of for awhile.
Great news for the team! I'm very excited about both. i'm looking forward to Borer having a full productive season (he's due for some good stuff) and Peters just plays more determined every season so I'm sure we'll see good things from him as well.
Question: have you heard anything about back to back preseason games on Sept 25/26 against the Phantoms?
Someone asked Petru at the awards banquet if he was going to be returning next season and, if I recall correctly, he said that he was thinking about Europe.
Phil, buddy, you have to warn a girl before you drop a bomb like that.
I am shocked and appalled that the Rats organization is laying off Owen. It's not the first time I've been baffled by something the organization has done, I'm certain that it won't be the last. I can only hope that it's a mutual thing and he's got something spectacular lined up in the wings.
Most of the hockey announcers I listen to, I tolerate for the sake of the game. Owen is one of the very few that I actually enjoy listening to.
I wish him nothing but the best wherever he may land.

Very happy they resigned Angelidis. I think he's a great asset to the Rats and will be a great asset to the Canes when he's called up.
