Congress Plaza tenants moving for hotel

Laser tag is leaving downtown Saratoga Springs after 16 years to make room for a hotel.

"Outer Zone" announced on its Facbook page that it is closing on May 12. A new hotel is planned for the spot.

"With great sadness and due to circumstances beyond our control, Outer Zone will be closing indefinitely after Mother's Day," Outer Zone announced.

It's not clear what other businesses will be removed because of the project, but the CVS pharmacy will remain.

This likely isn't the end for the Outer Zone, though, as they have plans for life after Congress Plaza. "We are working on reopening in the future with a bigger building and better location," they wrote on their Facebook page.
