Shen students under consideration for merit scholarhips
Five Shenendehowa High School seniors have been identified as semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship competition.
The distinction goes to David Luo, Harry Newman-Plotnick, Anthony Segreto, Nicolas Vigilante, and Jessica Wang, according to a news release. They are among 16,000 semifinalists nationwide.
Next the semifinalists have to fulfill certain requirements to be considered for a Merit Scholarship award. Additionally, students must have a top-notch academic record, be endorsed by their high school principal and have SAT scores that confirm their support their initial scores.
