Teachers tapped for advisory panel
Four Capital Region teachers have been named to a special state advisory council.
A complete list of the teachers can be found below. A story on the council can be found HERE.
"The teachers on the council will give direct feedback from the front lines of reform — the classroom," said New York State Education Department Commissioner John B. King Jr. in a statement. "The most important thing we can do as educators is maintain focus on the students, and these extraordinary teachers will help us do just that."
The purpose of the council is to discuss education issues, particularly the progress of the New York State Board of Regents Reform Agenda.
