Republicans announce Schenectady County candidate

The Schenectady County Republicans announced a slate of candidates this week for the County Legislature, sheriff and family court judge races.

The county's committee met on April 13, according to a news release from the party, and backed 10 candidates.

In the county's 1st legislative district they've endorsed Ben Wallach. In the second legislative district they're supporting disability rights advocate Jason Planck. In the third district they endorsed Alan Boulant, Grant Socha and Nicholas Gerace. In the fourth they backed Brian McGarry, Charles Quadrini and Randy Pascarella.

The county Republicans are also backing incumbent Sheriff Dominic Dagostino and they're supporting Deanna Siegel for family court judge.
