The New Jersey Devils on Monday reassigned left wing Jean-Sebastien Berube to Albany of the AHL from Trenton of the ECHL. Berube was injured in the preseason and has not played an AHL game this season. He has three goals and five assists in 10 games with Trenton.

Also, Utica native Nick Palmieri was traded from the Minnesota Wild to the New York Rangers. Palmieri, a 2007 third-round draft pick for New Jersey, has 10 goals and 11 assists in 40 games with the Houston Aeros of the AHL this season. He has played in 182 AHL games (46-40-86) and 87 NHL games (13-12-25).
