Eco-minded home expo

An home show focusing on renewable energy, alternative transportation, sustainable agriculture, green building, natural health, environmental and social responsibility and local economies will be held this weekend, Oct. 6 and 7, at Lee’s Park on Saratoga Lake.

Olde Saratoga Expo, in partnership Eco-Local Magazine, will host the weekend of solution-based, interactive, family oriented events. The Expo features local business exhibitors, workshops, hands-on experiences, a Kids Zone, Natural Health and Healing Zone, live music and entertainment, our Buy Local Market and Local Libations, featuring local beer and wine.

There will also be a Columbus Cardboard Boat Regatta in celebration of Christopher Columbus and his historic 1492 voyage. Bring your own vessel made of cardboard and duct tape and compete for several prizes!

Lee’s Park is on Route 9P on the Fish Creek at the northeast end of Saratoga Lake. Admission to the expo is $5 per perso, free for kids.
