From the New York Racing Association:

RACHEL ALEXANDRA WEBSITE LAUNCHES AT NYRA.COM

ELMONT – Fans of Rachel Alexandra can connect with the star 3-year-old filly on her own website, “Rachel’s Sandbox” (www.nyra.com/rachel), set up by The New York Racing Association, Inc., as she prepares for a summer campaign beginning with Saturday’s Grade 1, $300,000 Mother Goose Stakes at Belmont Park.

The multimedia site gives fans an interactive experience and allows them to keep up with the latest news and information on Rachel Alexandra as she makes her first start since her historic victory over the boys in the May 16 Preakness Stakes.

"NYRA has received many inquires about this special filly,” said NYRA’s director of marketing, Neema Ghazi. “Rachel's Sandbox was designed with the hope of providing fans with the answers to these questions and represents the proper online showcase for one of racing's true superstars."

Fans can view a Rachel Alexandra photo gallery, peruse career past performances and pedigree, comment on blogs and participate in a poll on the website, which also contains a “Fun Stuff” section featuring downloadable wallpaper, coloring pages, and fun facts about the fabulous filly.

“Rachel’s Sandbox” also offers information on the Stonestreet Stable star’s participation in the Susan G. Komen "Race For The Cure"®, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and ending breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.

Fans can visit “Rachel’s Sandbox” at www.nyra.com/rachel.
