Wife of WTMM's Sinkoff gives birth to boy

Congratulations to WTMM-FM (104.5) program director and sportstalk show host Brian Sinkoff, who became a father for the first time on Friday. Sinkoff’s wife gave birth to Zachary Samuel Sinkoff at 1:33 p.m. at Albany Med. Everyone is doing fine. Sinkoff said he will do his show, “Sound-Off with Sinkoff,” Tuesday, but will be off Wednesday and Thursday. Capital News 9 sports director Joe Calderone will fill in on Wednesday, and Siena College assistant sports information director Mike Demos will do Thursday’s show. There is no show Friday because it is July 4, and the Red Sox-Yankees are playing in the afternoon. Sinkoff said that last Thursday’s show had a record 100 callers. The average is about 50 to 60 per show.
