Former Union hockey assistant coach Gaspirini part of L.A. Kings' Stanley Cup triumph

The Union men's hockey team has a connection to the Stanley Cup-champion Los Angeles Kings.
Kings United States amateur scout Tony Gaspirini was an assistant coach for Nate Leaman during from 2003-05. Gaspirini left after the 2004-05 season, and that's when Rick Bennett joined the staff.
Also, Manchester Monarchs coach Mark Morris was an assistant coach at Union under Charlie Morrison during the 1984-85 season. Morris was the head coach at Clarkson.
