For those Capital Region sports fans who have missed Jim Rome's show, you will be happy to know he is back on the air here.

On Wednesday, WPTR-AM (1240) changed its format from oldies music to sportstalk. It is affiliated with CBS Sports Radio.

Rome's show is moved from Premier Network to CBS Sports Radio at the start of the year. It had been on WOFX-AM (980).

WPTR is the third station to have a all-sports format, joining WOFX (FOX Sports Radio) and WTMM-FM 104.5 (ESPN Radio).

Here is what CBS Sports Radio weekday lineup.

6-9 a.m.: Tiki Barber, Brandon Tierney and Dana Jacobson.
9 a.m.-noon: John Feinstein Show.
Noon-3 p.m.: Jim Rome Show.
3-6 p.m.: Doug Gottleib Show.
6-10 p.m. MoJo (Chris Moore and Brian Jones).
10 p.m.-2 a.m. Ferrall on the Bench
2-6 a.m.: The DA Show.

Schenectady native Damon Bruce has two Saturday shows: "Eye on Baseball" from 10 a.m.-noon and the "Damon Bruce Show" from noon-2 p.m.

Will WPTR carry Union Hockey?

We need a station with a STRONG signal. It's difficult to pick-up AM 1160 in Schenectady.
