Schenectady High School grad Wells pitches for White Sox

Schenectady High School graduate Casper Wells played out of position for the Chicago White Sox in Game 1 of Friday's double-header against the Cleveland Indians.

Wells, an outfielder, pitched the ninth inning of the White Sox's 19-10 loss to the Indians. He did a fine job, pitching a scoreless inning. He didn't allow a hit while striking out one and walking one.
