ECAC Hockey Faceoff Selections 2012-13: ECACH tourney first round

Ryan Fay is your new Daily Gazette ECAC Hockey Faceoff Selections champion.

Fay posted a 7-4-1 record in the final weekend of the ECAC Hockey season to capture the title. From the NIP to the Bank, who trailed Fay by two points entering last weekend, went 4-7-1 and dropped to third. Defending champion Matthew Ruffini finished second.

Here are the final overall standings, with the Week 21 records in parentheses:

No. 12 Harvard at No. 5 Dartmouth — Dartmouth wins series in three, 1-2, 3-1 and 2-1.
No. 11 Colgate at No. 6 St. Lawrence — St. Lawrence win series in two, 4-2 and 5-1.
No. 10 Clarkson at No. 7 Brown — Brown wins series in two, 2-0 and 1-0.
No. 9 Cornell at No. 8 Princeton — Princeton wins series in three, 3-1, 1-2 and 2-1.
