Union gets Dartmouth; RPI to face Brown in ECAC Hockey quarterfinals

The ECAC Hockey tournament best-of-three quarterfinal matchups are set.
No. 5 Dartmouth defeated No. 12 Harvard, 6-3, to win the best-of-three first-round series, 2-1. The Big Green will face No. 4 Union, the defending champion, at Messa Rink.
No. 2 RPI will host No. 7 Brown at Houston Field House. Brown swept No. 10 Clarkson in the first round.
No. 9 Cornell will go to No. 1 Quinnipiac. Cornell was the only road team to win a series, sweeping No. 8 Princeton.
No. 3 Yale will host No. 6 St. Lawrence. The Saints eliminated No. 11 Colgate in two games.
The quarterfinals start Friday.
