In case you read my column today (Sunday, Aug. 30) and went looking for the photos I wrote about, well, you might have been too late. When I checked Facebook a few minutes after 7 a.m. they were already gone. These were the photos of Schenectady school board member Jim Casino and his wife, Donna, an elementary school teacher, cavorting at two drinking parties were their high-school graduating son Jimmy and other young people, a few of whom were identifiable as June high school graduates.
Son Robert's photo album was still there, but all the drinking photos had been deleted.
Mother Donna's album was gone.
So I guess maybe they weren't as proud of those pictures as they must have been when they first posted them on July 4 and Aug. 21.
I of course took the precaution of downloading them to my own computer before I wrote the column, lest anyone accuse me of hallucinating them.
