Capturing the president's visit
By Carl Strock

I hied myself over to Albany the other day to see President Barack Obama make his third visit to the Capital Region –- how could I not? If he comes to see us, the least I could do was go see him.
I did want to ask him why he was wasting his political time visiting a state that is already a sure thing for him rather than concentrating on so-called swing states, but alas, the Secret Service thought I was already close enough back behind the press railing, so that effort came to naught.
Then I wanted to ask the Secret Service if they intended to keep out of trouble themselves, but I thought better of it, so that came to naught also. I did take a few pictures, and you can see those by clicking HERE.
