The day in stupid

The list of moronic things a person can do is infinite. (See: My bio.) But few match what I saw on Maxon Road in Schenectady this morning: A driver navigating around deployed railroad barriers, less than 30 seconds before an Amtrak train chugged by.

Oh, how the car's driver and passenger laughed and laughed as they were passing me.

All I could think about is the parts -- theirs and their car -- raining down on me had they been splattered.

Oh, and the Amtrak train? A short one. Took less than 20 seconds to pass.

Here is my prediction of the day: The driver will not live to see old age. Just a hunch.
