Shoemaker Bryce Hume champ

We beat the rain, and 26 brave souls had a pretty good time Sunday at the 41st annual Gazette Bryce Hume Memorial Golf Tournament at Schenectady Municipal Golf Course.

Jerry Shoemaker won possession of the prestigious Bryce Hume trophy with a 71 net score, followed by Ken Shumway's 74 and Doug Hopkins' 75.

The guest division was led by Boulevard Bowl proprietor Mike Scaccia, who had a 72 net and also won the closest to the pin contest on No. 13.
