A new board member for miSci
Schenectady's Museum of Innovation and Science announced an addition to its board of trustees and new 2013 officers last week.
Esther Swanker, president of the Schenectady County Public Library Board of Trustees, has joined miSci's board of trustees. She has served several area organizations, including the Dominican Retreat House, Ellis Hospital Foundation and the Mohawk Pathways Girl Scout Council.
The following people were elected to serve as officers on the board:
• President: Earl Redding, an attorney at Roemer Wallens & Mineaux LLP
• Vice president: Trudy Lehner, senior director of marketing and government affairs at SuperPower Inc.
• Treasurer: Dr. Tobi Saulnier, CEO of 1st Playables Productions
• Secretary: Tony Farah, president of Farah Consulting LLC.
