C2 Design opens on Broadway

An architecture firm has moved into 340 Broadway in Schenectady, and celebrated its grand opening last week with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Chamber of Schenectady County.

C2 Design Architecture was founded in Schenectady County, where its owner Michael A. Roman lives and has family. The firm has more than 15 years of experience in architecture, interior design, site planning, graphic design, architectural visualization and construction administration services.

"C2 Design Architecture prides itself in developing and maintaining a good relationship with each client," read a news release issued Monday. "The staff will work with any budget and ensure clients’ satisfaction. The company’s structure provides it with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a close relationship with clients."

Roman worked closely with his father on construction sites, which inspired him to become an architect. He graduated from college with an architecture degree, and worked for another architectural firm for a few years before deciding it was time to go into business for himself.

C2 Design Architecture is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
