Wednesday, February 5, 2014

Two local consulting firms have partnered to offer support services to small and medium-sized businesses across the Capital Region that range from start-up assistance to liquor license coordination.

Amicus Business Consulting, of Latham, and Preferred Solutions, LLC, of Glenville, are offering these services and more under the name AP Business Support Group. Other services include real estate consultation, IT technical troubleshooting, business planning and bookkeeping. The goal of the new partnership is to help businesses avoid costly and time-consuming delays to getting a business up and running.

AP Business Support Group is run by Amicus President Francesco M. Pecoraro and Preferred Solutions President Richard Usas.

"Our combined organizations have the unique experience, strengths and skill sets needed to guide Capital District business owners through today's difficult environment of forming, owning and/or operating a business," they said in a news release. "We have an extensive network of contacts, professionals and service providers that have been thoroughly vetted."

These contacts include the Albany and Schenectady Chambers of Commerce, Rotterdam Rotary, Rotterdam Elks, Glenville Business and Professional Association, the Glenville Local Development Corporation, the Greater Capital Association of Realtors and the Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Brokers Association.

Anyone interested in AP Business Support Group services should call 478-8686 or 265-5635 or visit www.apbizhelp.com.
