DiNapoli coming to Glenville

State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli will be the keynote speaker at Glenville's third annual "Let's Talk Business" Expo next month.

The expo is a free event that includes a reception, presentation and exhibition geared toward developers, commercial realtors and commercial property owners. In previous years, more than 100 people have shown up to hear about development opportunities in Glenville.

This year, the event will be held April 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the River Stone Manor at 1437 Amsterdam Rd. in Glenville. Formal invitations will be issued in about two weeks.

"We're excited to have the comptroller here in Glenville," said Town Supervisor Chris Koetzle. "We think he is going to be a significant draw. We expect him to talk about municipalities and the role the municipality has in business development and developing communities, so I think it's going to be an interesting talk for people and we're looking forward to a sizable crowd."

Anyone with questions about the expo can contact Kevin Corcoran or Mike Burns in the town's Economic Development and Planning Department at 688-1200 ext. 407 or by email at or
