– Empire Jazz Orchestra at Schenectady County Community College with David “Fathead” Newman — The area’s premiere big band with Ray Charles alumnus Newman. April 8.

– Brian Lynch Quintet at First Unitarian Society of Schenectady — Phil Woods’ trumpeter leads his own group as Professor Jose Cruz presents the second year of his Latin jazz series. May 2.
