Union freshman forward Adam Presizniuk was named ECAC Hockey rookie of the week on Monday.
Presizniuk had a goal and three assists for the Dutchmen, who earned three points over the weekend. He had the game-tying goal with 2:07 left in regulation in the Dutchmen’s 3-3 tie against 16th-ranked Quinnipiac on Saturday, and assisted on Brendan Milnamow’s goal earlier in the third.
Presizniuk, who had two assists in Friday’s 4-3 win over 19th-ranked Princeton, is the second Union player in three weeks to win the honor. Stephane Boileau got the nod two weeks ago.
