A Glenville man was charged by town police with driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana Wednesday night after he crashed his vehicle into a snowplow in front of the Verdoy Firehouse on Troy-Schenectady Road.
Police said Jason Wright, 26, was driving his jeep east at about 8 p.m. when he veered into the westbound lane and struck a town of Colonie salt truck and sheered the plow from the front of the truck.
Wright suffered internal injuries and was taken to Albany Medical Center, police said. The town employee driving the plow, Roger Wertman, 51, of Latham, was not injured.
