A Canajoharie man died Monday evening after his motorcycle crashed into a pickup truck, according to Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies.
Gregory G. Conrad, 35, of 62 Otsego St., was headed south on Route 10 about 6:20 p.m. when he ran into a truck driven by Gary G. Hyney, 59, of 7924 Route 10, according to deputies. Deputies said Hyney was backing his pickup truck into his driveway when the accident occurred.
Deputies said Hyney was not injured, but he was ticketed on charges of failing to yield the right-of-way and unsafe backing.
