A Tuesday night raid netted police 175 small baggies of marijuana and led to felony drug charges against a city man, authorities said.

Vance Michel, 26, of 915 Bridge St., was charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal sale of marijuana, a misdemeanor. He is accused of selling four small baggies of marijuana for $40 earlier Tuesday, city police spokesman Lt. Brian Kilcullen said.

Police raided the Bridge Street apartment just after 8:30 p.m., finding another 175 similar baggies, Kilcullen said. He said the total weight was more than eight ounces, but could not be more specific.

Police targeted the home because of recent activity in and outside the house, Kilcullen said.
