Nearly 1,000 Catholics from throughout the Albany Roman Catholic Diocese are expected to attend the 35th annual Spring Enrichment, which begins this morning.

The four-day event at the College of Saint Rose features a nationally known Jesuit liturgist and preacher from Washington, D.C., and many nationally recognized experts.

About 150 different, two-hour courses are being offered, and a new feature geared for Catholic teenagers will include a presentation by the Rev. Bob Longobucco of St. Helen’s Church in Niskayuna.

The full course schedule is available online at www.rcda.org.

Spring Enrichment is sponsored by the Diocesan Office of Evangelization and Catechesis to meet the needs of anyone interested in increasing their knowledge of the Catholic faith and provide those in church ministry a way to refresh their skills.
