The former Shenendehowa High School soccer star acquitted of murder in 2006 is back in trouble with the law.
David Woodrow, 34, was indicted by a Schenectady County grand jury on a host of charges tied to the alleged armed May 16 break-in of an apartment on Eagle Street. Woodrow faces three felony counts of first-degree burglary, as well as one count of possessing burglar’s tools and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
In January 2006, Woodrow was found not guilty of murder and other charges in the 1999 shooting death of James Holland, a self-proclaimed “King of New York” thug who terrorized local drug dealers. At the time, police and prosecutors said Woodrow was a major drug dealer earning more than $3,000 per week selling marijuana.
