Kevin Anderson has been named hockey operations coordinator for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, school athletic director Jim Knowlton announced Monday.

Among Anderson’s responsibilities are video coordination, including breaking down game tapes, preparation and prescouting for upcoming opponents, team travel coordination and community relations. He will also serve as special events coordinator, including organizing alumni and community events.

“Kevin’s energy and passion for hockey is contagious,” said head men’s hockey coach Seth Appert. “He will make both our programs better with his knowledge and his attention to detail. He is a great addition to the RPI hockey family.”

Anderson, a 2003 graduate of St. Cloud State, was hockey operations and video coordinator at Notre Dame from 2003-06.
