Pounds has key hit

Bryan Pounds’ drove in three runs, and the Oneonta Tigers took advantage of sloppy fielding by the Tri-City ValleyCats to take a 9-1 New York-Penn League victory over Tri-City after six innings in the ValleyCats’ home opener at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.

The ‘Cats made five errors in the game, leading to five unearned runs. Tri-City (1-3) has made 15 errors in its first four games.
