Police have arrested three people who allegedly vandalized the Babe Ruth fields in Cook Park in the village of Colonie on June 22.
The three, an adult and two juveniles, caused an estimated $4,700 in damages to two separate baseball fields. They broke 20 sprinkler heads, a water supply line, damaged a chain link fence and cut a home plate tarp, according to police.
The individuals arrested include Anthony M. Falcone, 21, of 98 Lincoln Ave., Albany, who was charged with felony criminal mischief; third-degree criminal trespass and unlawfully dealing with a minor. He was released pending a further court appearance.
The two juveniles, who were also released and referred to Family Court pending a further court date, were charged with felony criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Their names were not released by police.
