A man was hospitalized Monday night after he was shot in the leg at the corner of Second and Quail streets.
Police said Marquis Rowlette 19, of 23 Marshall St., was shot in the upper thigh about 10:30 p.m. He suffered a broken femur and was taken to Albany Medical Center, according to Det. James Miller, spokesman for the Department of Public Safety.
The shooting remains under investigation, Miller said. Rowlette told police he did not know who shot him or why he was shot, Miller said, and a canvass of the area yielded little information.
