Good government groups are urging Gov. David Paterson and state lawmakers to address the ethics scandals that have recently plagued state government.
The groups include the League of Women Voters and the New York Public Interest Research Group. They’re holding a news conference in Albany today to unveil their proposals for changing the state’s ethics law.
The advocates are presenting ideas to reform the state’s ethics law and promote openness and accountability in government.
