Ballston Spa raced to a 27-0 halftime lead and never looked back tonight, rolling over Christian Brothers Academy, 46-0, to remain in the thick of the Empire Division football title chase.
Van Huyben did the early damage with touchdown runs of one and four yards as the Scotties ran their division record to 3-1 and overall mark to 4-1.
The Scotties, who took a 6-0 lead in the first quarter, also got a 35-yard touchdown pass from Mark Seager to Josh Fabian, as well as a six-yard scoring run from Shane LaChance.
Seager tacked on another TD pass in the second half, a two-yarder to Ryan Sparks, and Nick Tubolino ran for fourth-quarter scores from two and five yards out.
CBA slipped to 1-3 and 1-4.
