Union falls to U.S. Under-18 team, 5-4

Wild exhibition game.

Drew Shore scored 1:23 into the third period Saturday, snapping a 4-4 tie and giving the U.S. National Under-18 team a 5-4 exhibition hockey victory over Union at Messa Rink.

Shore put in the rebound of a Kenny Ryan right-wing drive. Goalie Adam Murray protected the lead, making 19 of his 48 saves in the third.

Mario Valery-Trabucco and Brian Yanovitch scored for the Dutchmen.
