A Schenectady landscaping firm donated a tree today to replace one stolen from a Troy school that had been planted to remember two young fire victims.
Brennan Landscaping donated a blue spruce to the school this morning. Someone stole the first 9-foot blue spruce at Public School 14 on Wednesday, leaving only a stump, according to police.
Friends and family planted the tree in 2000 to remember David Trudell, 7, and his brother Jacob, 6, who died eight years ago in a fire at their mother’s home.
