Edwin Ubiles scored 23 points, including a big three-pointer late in the game, to lead Siena to a 71-64 victory over UAlbany at the Times Union Center tonight.
The Great Danes trailed by as many as 15 late in the first half, but battled back to within 60-55 with less than five minutes left.
Ubiles gave the momentum back to Siena (4-3) with a three-pointer to make it 65-56 with almost two minutes left.
The junior forward hit two free throws with 37.9 seconds left to give Siena a 70-62 lead.
UAlbany scored the last five points of the first half to get within 39-29.
Ronald Moore scored 17 points for the Saints, and Tim Ambrose led UAlbany with 15.
