Niagara went ahead at halftime, 48-31, and weathered a Siena comeback in the second half to win, 100-85, at the Gallagher Center tonight.
Siena got within 82-75 on two free throws by Alex Franklin with 5:06 left and had two chances to cut into that deficit, but Ronald Moore missed two free throws and Kenny Hasbrouck turned it over on a carry in transition.
Niagara went on a 12-2 run for there to put the game away.
On a very cold shooting night for Hasbrouck, Moore made five of six three-pointers and finished with a career-high 23 points.
Siena fell to 15-2 in the MAAC and 22-7 overall, and Niagara (23-7 overall) clinched second place in the MAAC at 13-4.
