Authorities have arrested an Albany man on narcotics and weapon charges after seizing drugs at his home and about $430,000 in cash at three locations, including his mother’s rural home.
State police say a search Wednesday of Andrea Leone’s Albany home turned up a half kilogram of cocaine, 2 ounces of marijuana, a pistol-grip shotgun and $22,000 in cash.
Police say they also found about $120,000 in cash at his mother’s home in Broadalbin, 35 miles northwest of Albany. Authorities say another $288,000 was seized from a bank deposit box in Amsterdam.
The 33-year-old Leone has been charged with felony counts of drug and weapon possession.
He was being held in Albany County Jail without bail. It couldn’t be determined if he had a lawyer.
