Flint helps BH-BL to 46-6 win Gloversville

Second-quarter explosion sparks Spartans.

Keaton Flint caught two touchdown passes in the second quarter, land Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake rolled to a 46-6 high school football victory lead over Gloversville in the Class A Northwest Division opener for both teams on Friday.

After Nick Pasquale scored a TD to pull Gloversville within 7-6 late in the first quarter, the Spartans scored on all three of their drives in the second. Flint’s second TD reception, a 53-yarder from quarterback Phil Neumann, came with 13 seconds left in the quarter.

Jahi Owens and Evan Nusbaum had TD runs for the Spartans in the first half. Tyler Paluba, Brandon Beatty and William Fisher scored in the second half for the Spartans.
